What’s An SEO Agency Do? Video Indexing and Another Google Update

What Is An SEO Company. What do SEO Agencies Do?

While you won’t find us paying to be in their agency partner directory, a tool we use, SEMRush, provides a good overview of the SEO work New Plains MediaMedia does for its clients:

  • Content creation and marketing
  • Website page speed optimization
  • Provision of SEO strategy tailored to the business’s specific needs
  • Website auditing and reports

We pride ourselves on offering three other things that we believe are integral to a good relationship — big picture business guidance, similar to a fractional chief marketing officer, active Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools management and education. We want our clients to learn about SEO and omnichannel marketing. The more they internalize that knowledge, the more advance our relationship becomes. Ultimately, SEO is won by the organization that creates a content culture, where everyone in the company is contributing to telling its story.

One thing SEMRush misses is the long-term value and stickiness of SEO, making it any organization’s single most important external investment (closely linked with reviews).

As we first shared in December, video is growing to become a more important part of search success with the introduction of multi-modal search.
